Meet Our Care Team
Shorelight Memory Care is a community committed to serving each person with compassion, love and mutual respect. Our caregivers and associates share these values, and receive the training and ongoing support they need to help our residents achieve the very best quality of life each and every day.
Stephanie joined the Shorelight family in February of 2017 and brings over 20 years of experience in senior living including hospital, skilled nursing home, assisted living, independent living and memory care.
“I am passionate about delivering respectful, spiritual care to both residents and family members. My husband Jeff and I have two grown daughters and one son-in-law. I am a North Dakota native and relocated to the Wisconsin area to join the Shorelight team."
Kristin started off her career as a nurse in a hospital, but has transitioned throughout the years to long term care.
“I am so appreciative of my position at Shorelight. In all of my work experience, I can honestly say that no other company I have worked with has strived so hard to live out their mission. When I’m not at work, I’m even busier at home. I am a married mom of three. Any excuse we can find as a family to be outdoors, we will take it. You can find us anywhere from Wisconsin lakes to the mountains out west.”
Claudia has been gaining knowledge and experience in the medical field for 20 years; 15 of those years in nursing. This has included a background in hospital, skilled nursing, sub-acute, home care and dementia experience.
“I am fascinated with working in the geriatric field and I enjoy Shorelight’s family atmosphere and philosophy. I enjoy spending time with my two sons and beautiful granddaughter. On my off days, you will often find me keeping up my home in Milwaukee, traveling or just driving along the countryside.”
Lisa spent her early career working for NASA and has had the pleasure of spending the last 12 years in the healthcare industry including skilled, hospice and memory care.
“My greatest honor is meeting a caregiver and giving them hope in a time of need. During my years as an Alzheimer’s Association support group facilitator and Caregiver Trainer, I became passionate about finding solutions to help prevent caregiver breakdown. In my free time, my husband and kindergartener keep me busy as we love spending time up north in Hayward, paddle boarding, canoeing, and gardening.”
Meg has had the pleasure of working with the Geriatric community for the past 36 years; 20 of those years working with residents on a Dementia unit where she has received specialized training by the Alzheimer’s Association.
“I was drawn to Shorelight’s person-centered philosophy of care. I get so much more from my residents than I could ever give. I believe the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service to others.
I am a mother of one and a grandmother of four, ranging from ages 5-19. My husband and I have been married for 10 years. Outside of work, I love to garden, redecorate, crafting, camping and enjoying time with my family.”
Katie recently graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse in May of 2017 and prior to working at Shorelight, she was a Certified Nursing Assistant for five years in home care and a long-term rehabilitation center.
“My passion is helping others who are not able to care for themselves as they once did before. Shorelight Memory Care has given me the opportunity to have more than a career but also a family with our residents and co-workers. Currently I am in school to be a Registered Nurse, but in my free time I enjoy travelling and spending time with family and friends.”
Tracey brings over 30 years of Healthcare Food Service experience with the majority of that time working for various religious organizations.
“My team here at Shorelight is an amazing and dedicated group of individuals that takes great pride in what they do and we all strive to make the dining experience individualized for our residents. I enjoy gardening, my 2 dogs, Moosie and Max and taking care of my Koi pond. I am blessed with my daughter Erica and son-in-law David. We enjoy watching football (Go Packers) and UEFA European soccer, especially Manchester United.”
